Meet Our Pastor
Rev. Jeffery S. Fetty
Pastor, Main Street Baptist Church
Rev. Jeffery S. Fetty has served as Pastor of Main Street Baptist Church since May 1, 2022. He has been active in ministry since 2011, first preaching at his home church, Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church in Ona, WV, under the mentorship of the late Rev. Paul Meadows. From 2014 to 2018, he served as Associate Pastor of Tucker Memorial Baptist Church (now Tucker Fellowship) in Huntington, WV. He later joined New Baptist Church in Huntington, where he taught the Berean Sunday School class and provided pulpit supply for dozens of churches across West Virginia and Ohio.
In 2022, Pastor Fetty was ordained as an American Baptist pastor. He also serves as Post Chaplain for VFW Post 9926 in Mason, WV, on the Mason County Homeless Services Advisory Council, the Mason County Ministerial Association Board, and the Board for Ruth’s School in India. Beginning in 2026, he will serve on the West Virginia Baptist Convention Executive Board.
Education
Pastor Fetty earned his Master of Divinity from Palmer Theological Seminary in 2024. He holds a Degree in Religion from Liberty University (2014) and completed chaplaincy training with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in 2017. Prior to ministry, he served in the U.S. Army Infantry (1996–2002), completing Infantry Training Brigade in 1997.
Personal Life
A native of Ona, WV, Pastor Fetty gave his life to Christ in 1987. While serving in Korea, he met his wife, Ileene, and together they have three children—Jeffrey, Jennifer, and Imaly—and two grandsons, Noah and Onyx. Before entering full-time ministry, he worked at Steel of West Virginia in the Melt Shop for 18 years. His call to pastoral ministry flows from a deep trust in God’s Word and the conviction that the local church has been ordained to proclaim and live out the redemptive message of Jesus Christ.
Joys
Pastor Fetty enjoys hiking, primitive camping, traveling to state and national parks, and carpentry. His greatest joy, however, is studying Scripture deeply and sharing its truths with others.
